Russell Bailey

Russell Bailey, also known as Rusty to his friends, is a true native of Southern Illinois, enjoying the benefits of all of the recreational opportunities that it has to offer—Hunting, Fishing, Camping and exploring the Shawnee National Forest.

Rusty’s educational background consists of the completion of Vienna Grade and High Schools, and a Bachelors of Fine Art from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois—specializing in Photography.  After graduating from SIU, Rusty moved to Chicago and worked as a commercial photographer for a number of years before moving back home to Southern Illinois.    His love for the area, along with a desire to begin a family persuaded him to return.

Although Rusty has been selling real estate for a while, he still finds it exciting and very rewarding to work with a client, and to find them that special place to start a new life.

His work ethic is strong and he prides himself on devoting time, and plenty of conversation with any client, to fully understand their needs and expectations of moving into the area.  It is more important to him to have a happy client, than it is to see how many clients he can count.

Russell is also a State of Illinois Notary Public and in October of 2006, he was granted a U.S. Patent for his design of a self-righting Waterfowl Decoy.
